State Emblem of the Republic of Uzbekistan
The State Emblem was approved by Law No. 616-XII of July 2, 1992 'On the State Emblem of the Republic of Uzbekistan'. The State Emblem of the Republic of Uzbekistan has the following appearance: mountains, rivers and on the left side wheat ears, on the right side cotton branches with open bolls forming a wreath around a blooming valley with golden sun rays shining above it.
In the upper part of the emblem, an octagon is depicted as a symbol of the republic's independence, inside which are a crescent and a star. In the center of the emblem is the mythical bird Humo with spread wings, symbolizing happiness and free will. At the bottom of the emblem is a ribbon in the colors of the State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the inscription 'Uzbekistan'.
In the colored version of the State Emblem of the Republic of Uzbekistan: The Humo bird and rivers are depicted in silver; the sun, wheat ears, cotton bolls, and the inscription 'Uzbekistan' appear in gold; cotton branches and leaves, mountains and valleys are shown in green; the cotton in the bolls is white; the ribbon reflects the three colors of the State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan; the octagon is outlined with gold trim against a sky-blue background; the crescent and stars are rendered in white.
