The Charter of “O‘zbekiston Temir Yo‘llari” JSC was approved by the First Deputy Chairman of the Board A.S. Shukurov on 30.03.2017 and registered in the center for state registration of business entities "Yagona darcha" under the number 4142. By the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated April 24, 2015, № PD-4720 "On measures to introduce modern methods of corporate governance in joint-stock companies" and the decision of the joint meeting of the Board and the sole shareholder of “O‘zbekiston Temir Yo‘llari”, dated April 30, 2015, № 59, it was decided to rename the structural divisions. To bring it into compliance with the requirements, based on the order of the Chairman of the Board of JSC "O‘zbekiston Temir Yo‘llari" dated June 2, 2015, № 249-N "On bringing the names of structural units by the requirements of the law" the name of the SJSRC "O‘zbekiston Temir Yo‘llari" was changed to joint-stock Company "O‘zbekiston Temir Yo‘llari" and registered in Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan on May 25, 2015. Based on the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated October 28, 2016, №375 "On measures to improve the management activities" of “O‘zbekiston Temir Yo‘llari” JSC, the Karshi regional railway junction is included in the organizational structure of “O‘zbekiston Temir Yo‘llari” JSC. According to the regulation, the main tasks of the node are full and timely satisfaction of the needs of the population and economic entities in rail transportation; study of the regional transportation market conditions, formation of their infrastructure, as well as implementation of measures for the development of railway networks; timely delivery of cargo to customers served by rail to their destination with ensuring the integrity of cargo; ensuring stable and safe operation of railway transport within the serviced territory, provision of large-scale railway services to users; execution of construction and installation contract works for capital and current repairs (electrical equipment, communication devices and SCB); implementation of a set of measures jointly with state authorities and local authorities to strengthen the material and technical base of railway transport units; ensuring stable operation of the railway networks of the serviced territory and increasing the capacity of railways; development and implementation of measures to improve efficiency; Ensuring clear coordinated interaction with customs and tax authorities, the border service on the ground in the field of transportation of goods and passengers across the borders of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
